About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Duhovka Elementary School, supporting children aged 6-11 and training to become a Montessori teacher. If you are a native speaker with a passion for Montessori education, we'd love to have you on board!

About Us

The Duhovka Elementary School offers Czech - English education based mainly on the method of Marie Montessori; however, the school is open to other pedagogical approaches and chooses what is suitable for the given age and the children’s needs from each of them. We have mixed-age classes, which supports the learning process and natural cooperation among children.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with Czech and English Class Teachers in a bilingual environment.

• Assist and supervise students in the classroom, supporting their learning in line with Montessori principles.

• Help students develop their English language, social, and communication skills.

• Assist in classes with approximately 22 students.

• Take part in school events, activities, and trips.

What We’re Looking For

• Native English speaker (from an English-speaking country), who ideally has experience teaching in Europe.

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement).

• Interest in alternative education and Montessori philosophy.

• Willingness to commit long-term and continue professional growth in Montessori education.
