Substitute teacher - Media arts

We are looking for passionate Media Arts Teacher who enjoys working with high school students (Grade 10) in an international environment and are committed to creating engaging, student-centred learning experiences.

Course content:

1. Mass media influence & impact on society

2. Applying principles & elements in media arts

3. Troubleshooting & developing skills

4. Post-production: Piecing it together

5. Production Presentation: distribution

Your responsibilities:

• Substitute your subject in English following the Ontario Official Curriculum

• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons

• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the continuous development of our school

• Part-time cooperation based on invoice only (IČO)

• Ready-made lesson materials, presentations, and teaching methodology, requiring only minimal lesson preparation

• No grading of quizzes, tests, or homework - assessment is managed centrally

• On-site model in Prague 7

• 2 lessons - afternoon Wednesday & Thursday

What we're looking for:

• C1 (or higher) level of English

• Previous experience teaching the relevant subject at secondary/high school level

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Passion for working with teenagers in a multicultural environment

Applicants must already be based in Prague, as this is an on-site teaching position.
