Perrott Hill British School Prague is seeking to appoint an exceptional and enthusiastic Primary Music Teacher to join our growing Primary School.

The Primary Music Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Music lessons across the primary phase, ensuring excellent standards of teaching, learning and student achievement.
The successful candidate will:
Deliver inspiring Music lessons to students across the Primary School.
Design engaging learning experiences that develop pupils' musical skills through singing, instrumental performance, composition, listening and appreciation.
Foster creativity, confidence and enjoyment of music in all learners.
Track, assess and support student progress and attainment.
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Plan and deliver practical music lessons using a range of instruments and musical resources.
Organise and lead performances, concerts, assemblies and other musical events throughout the school year.
Contribute to curriculum planning and the continued development of the Music curriculum.
Support the academic, creative and personal growth of students.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents and students to achieve outstanding outcomes.
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school through extracurricular music activities, clubs or ensembles.
This position would suit a teacher who is passionate about music education, creativity and inspiring young children through the performing arts.
Applicants should demonstrate:
Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE, BEd or equivalent teaching qualification).
At least one year of teaching experience.
Experience teaching Music within a primary school setting.
Knowledge of the British curriculum and educational framework.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated and challenging lessons.
Confidence in leading singing and practical music-making activities with young learners.
Strong organisational skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Advantageous experience includes:
Experience teaching within an international or British curriculum school.
Experience directing choirs, ensembles or school performances.
Experience teaching a range of musical instruments or supporting instrumental tuition.
Experience organising concerts, performances and other school music events.
Experience using music technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning.
Experience contributing to curriculum development and departmental improvement initiatives.
Experience preparing schools for inspection or accreditation processes.
