Anglofonní základní škola (AngloZS) is a bilingual primary school in Prague, Czech Republic, offering education in both English and Czech. We are seeking passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic educators to join our team for the 2026–2027 academic year.

We are currently recruiting for several teaching positions and welcome applications from candidates interested in one or more of the roles listed below.

Current Vacancies

Grade 1 Primary Teacher

• Full-time or part-time position (depending on final student enrolment)

• Teaching core primary subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, and thematic learning

• Creating a nurturing and engaging classroom environment for young learners
  

Grade 2 Primary Teacher

• Full-time position

• Teaching core primary curriculum subjects

• Supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development

• Grade 3 Primary Teacher

• Full-time position

• Teaching core primary curriculum subjects

• Supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development
  

Grade 4 Primary Teacher

• Approximately 0.5 FTE (half-time position)

• Teaching selected core primary subjects

• Collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency in learning
  

  Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with curriculum expectations

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership

• Contribute positively to the wider school community
  

Qualifications and Requirements

For Primary Teacher Positions:

• Bachelor's degree in Primary Education, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification

• Native or fluent English proficiency

• Strong classroom management and lesson-planning skills

• Understanding of child development and effective teaching practices

• Enthusiastic, creative, and caring approach to education
