IT Teacher (4–8 Teaching Hours per Week)

ACGA is a Czech-English bilingual high school located in the heart of Prague. We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic IT Teacher to join our international team on a part-time basis beginning September 2026.

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and IT professionals who are passionate about sharing their expertise with the next generation.

What You'll Teach

Depending on your experience, classes may include topics such as:

• Information theory and data analysis

• Data visualization and pivot tables

• Databases and SQL

• Algorithms and programming (Python preferred)

• Flowcharts and computational thinking

• Robotics and programmable microcontrollers

Classes may be taught in English or Czech

What We're Looking For

• Availability to teach 4–8 hours per week

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or current Master's/PhD student)

• Strong practical knowledge of the subjects listed above

• Fluent or near-native English

• Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to teenagers

• Patience, professionalism, accuracy, and the ability to engage and motivate students

• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for education

• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

Previous teaching experience is welcome but not essential. We are equally interested in professionals who enjoy mentoring, training, or presenting and would like to bring their real-world experience into the classroom.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview and asked to deliver a 15–20 minute demonstration lesson or technical presentation. This allows us to assess your ability to communicate clearly, engage an audience, and explain technical concepts effectively, it is not intended to evaluate previous teaching experience.
