Although 2023 has just finished, festival organizers, music venues and concert promoters have been rushing to reveal the impressive line-up of international acts – spanning genres, continents, and decades of musical creation – set to perform in Prague and other Czech cities in 2024.

Notwithstanding an impromptu visit from Tay Tay, the Czech Republic’s biggest and most highly anticipated musical event of 2024 will be the coming of Ed Sheeran in the summer.

Invited by – but organized separately from – the Rock for People Festival held in the Central Bohemian city the previous month, the Irish singer-songwriter will hold two open-air concerts on July 27 (sold out) and July 28 on the outskirts of Hradec Králové as part of his global “Mathematics” Tour. Five years after his 2019 concert in Prague, the 32-year-old musical sensation is back in what has been described as the biggest cultural happening in little Hradec’s history.

But no need to wait that long to get your blood pumping and your feet thumping: English electronic pioneers Depeche Mode will perform twice in late February in Prague’s O2 Arena, and German rock band Rammstein is set to put Letňany on fire at the beginning of May.

They’ll be followed on the same stage just a couple of weeks later by the “Boss” himself, U.S. rock legend Bruce Springsteen who will be coming back to the Czech Republic after a 12-year absence.

Festival goers rejoice, and amateurs of more intimate venues revel. Sting, Sam Smith, The Smashing Pumpkins, Jason Derulo, Tom Odell, The Offspring, Dave Mathews, The 1975, Lenny Kravitz, La Femme, Tate McRae, Kosheen, The Prodigy, and more. This is all just the tip of the iceberg of a year catering to the musical and entertainment tastes for one and all.

This list will be updated throughout the year.
