Bread Festival (Slavnost Chleba)

Head deep into the Šumava forests to watch master bakers fire up Lenora's historic 1834 public brick oven to bake traditional rye bread, braided rolls, and garlic flatbreads using centuries-old methods. The freshly baked, steaming loaves are given out to visitors purely for tasting.

The community also fires up the historic brick oven for regular public baking demonstrations on the last Saturday of the month.
