Storm Goretti to affect daily travel in Prague, as heavy snowfall continues to fall in the Czech capital on Saturday morning. Roads in several districts are slick and partially covered, prompting delays across the city’s bus and train networks.

Twenty bus lines, along with trolleybus 58, are running behind schedule, and routes 245 and 248 are skipping some stops. Czech Railways reported that a snow-covered switch at Vyšehrad station delayed trains between the main station and Smíchov by 20–30 minutes, with normal service expected to resume by mid-morning.

To mitigate disruptions, the city has converted some vehicles into snow plows, clearing tracks while regular services continue where possible. Snow removal crews are active across roads and public areas, ensuring essential routes remain passable. An updated list of disruptions can be found at the website of the Prague Public Transport Company.

While travel is slower, residents and visitors can still enjoy Prague’s winter scenery, with city parks turning into sledding zones across the capital.
