Prague 1 will renovate Kampa Park for CZK 53.9 million, the capital's authorities said Tuesday. Police warned drivers to use winter tires ahead of Nov. 1 when a law obligates them to do so. They also recommended their use in general. Spokeswoman Dana Čírtková and traffic chief David Jirák emphasized safety, noting winter tires provide better grip in snow, ice, and frost, protecting drivers and others on the road.
