As an Accolade Health Assistant, you will act as a trusted partner for our clients, providing them with support and solutions related to their health and health benefits.

Your role will involve answering inbound calls and leveraging various communication channels to understand a client's needs and tailor your approach accordingly.

You will be responsible for delivering interventions, identifying potential medical issues, and assisting clients in navigating the complex healthcare system. Additionally, you will work to improve client outcomes, drive financial and medical improvements, and create a personalized and memorable experience for clients.  

Important - working hours from 13:30 till 22:00 (to overlap with US timezone)
Start date: 1st March, 2024

A day in the life…  

  • Engage with customers and understand their needs by answering inbound calls in a call center environment and optimizing communication channels that fit each client's needs. 

  • Tailor approach to fit clients' needs by understanding their context, uncovering information about them, and actively listening for contextual and health red flags. 

  • Use technology and data to gain a better understanding of clients' needs and uncover any medical issues. 

  • Deliver interventions by supporting clients to navigate the complex and confusing healthcare system, influencing their decisions and behaviors, and identifying when to connect them with the right clinical specialists. 

  • Drive better client outcomes by helping clients understand and optimize their preventive services, see the right providers at the right time, and have an improved quality of life. 

  • Delight clients by creating a personalized and positive experience with Accolade, matching their tone, style, and knowledge level, and building trust through listening, honesty, and empathy. 

  • Help clients optimize preventive services and have better managed chronic conditions. 

  • Assist with Rx and treatment compliance and regular doctor visits. 

  • Reduce and eliminate avoidable admits, ER usage, and readmits. 

 What we are looking for…   

  • Excellent knowledge of English language, strong communication skills both in written and verbal.  

  • Ability to thrive in a performance-based environment, demonstrating a high level of personal accountability. 

  • Ability to listen, talk, and type all at once through multi-channel communications. 

  • Empathetic critical thinking, thriving in a team environment, and capable of collaborating with individuals throughout the organization. 

  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement, with strong self-management and excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to change, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic, evolving environment. 

  • Aptitude for critical thinking/problem-solving and the ability to independently manage one's own workload to meet the demands of the business. 

  • Operate from a perspective of truly caring about our clients and creating value for them. 

  • Nice to have - previous customer service experience in healthcare, insurance, pharma or any other industry where technology, multi-tasking and verbal/written communication is used to drive their day-to-day responsibilities.
