Czech theater troupe Cirk La Putyka is celebrating 10 years of existence with this genre-breaking show in which none of the actors, dancers, and athletes chosen for the project were involved with the circus disciplines (teeter board, silks, ropes, straps, wu-shu) before the rehearsals for the show began. 3Kino International Film Festival Oct 10-15, Multiple venues
For the sixth time, this festival of Czech, Hungarian, Slovak, and Polish cinema will be held at Světozor, Atlas, and Evald cinemas in Prague. Films by celebrated filmmakers such as Agnieszka Holland, Krzysztof Zanussi, and Václav Marhoul will be shown. Almost sixty screenings, bringing together the theme of freedom, await visitors. Exhibit Opening & Concert: The Elements Oct 12, Vnitroblock
The Elements project presents a collection of paintings connected with songs of singer, songwriter, and painter Hana Melcrová, which is united by a theme of five elements.
