Job Description: 

Our school is in Prague, Czech Republic, teaching some subjects in the English language (English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Social Studies, Music, Art and Design, Physical Education and Practical Activities) and is looking for a Primary Teacher. The vacancy status is a one-year term, with an option to extend to full-time.   

We are looking for a teacher for our Primary School. The Primary School Teacher must have qualifications for educating pupils aged 6 – 12 in any subject. The primary teacher will start teaching pupils in the first and second grades.

To join the school, you will need:  

* A bachelor's in Primary School Teaching or a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education).  

* To be able to implement challenging lessons with no supervision  

* To be able to adapt lessons to suit the needs of the pupils  

* Confidence in your approach to teaching  

* being enthusiastic, having imagination, and a naturally caring nature

* Understanding how children from 6 to 9 years old learn and what encourages their development

The requested condition for the person chosen is a qualification gained in English. However, there is no need for NQT induction (induction for newly qualified teachers) to be completed.
