Anglofonní základní škola & Anglofonní gymnázium – Prague 5
Start Date: September 2026 (Academic Year 2026–2027)

We are seeking a qualified Informatics / ICT Teacher to join our expanding bilingual school as we open the first year of the Anglofonní gymnázium (High School) in September 2026.
This position includes teaching across lower secondary (Grades 6–9) and contributing to the design and delivery of the new Grade 10 Informatics curriculum.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Teach Informatics / ICT in English to students aged 11–16

• Deliver curriculum content such as:

  • Digital literacy & citizenship

  • Programming fundamentals (e.g., Python)

  • Computational thinking & algorithms

  • Hardware and networking basics

  • Safe and effective technology use

• Help develop and refine the Gymnázium ICT programme

• Integrate hands-on learning using:

  • Student laptops

  • Tablets

  • 3D printers

• Support project-based learning and cross-curricular technology integration

• Contribute positively to a bilingual English–Czech school environment

🎓 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, ICT, or IT Education

• Teaching qualification preferred (PGCE, QTS, M.Ed., or equivalent)

• Fluent English speaker (native or near-native level)

• Ability to teach theoretical and practical ICT

• Experience working with secondary-level students preferred

• Team-oriented and adaptable to a growing bilingual school

• EU work eligibility or willingness to relocate with support
