Education Work

If you are a student who is interested to work and study in Prague and are not holding an EU passport then your options are limited in what you can do for a job in Prague. Having a part-time job which pays around 80-120 CZK per hour is obviously not an option as a means of paying your way through a study program. Of course, if you are a citizen from a non-EU country and you want to work and study, you can, but living in Prague on a study visa, your part-time job cannot be a full-time occupation during your stay.

Non-EU full-time students attending a registered University of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports need to be registered at the Úřad Práce (Public Employment Office). Don’t worry about the registration, it is normal for your employer to do this.
