National Gallery Opening 2026

National Gallery launches its exhibition season tonight with three major openings: a Gen Z showcase from UMPRUM students, the gallery's own 230th anniversary exhibition tracing its history from 1796 to today, and Jiří Kolář's rarely-seen collages from the 1969 São Paulo Biennale. Free entry is available to all permanent collections at Veletržní palác, and there'll be a performance by Beata Kotrášová (Apocalypse Deluxe) at 8pm and DJ set by CEREAL closing the night.
