One of the world’s most prestigious male beauty pageants, Mister Global, held annually in Thai Chiang Mai, Thailand, awarded the title of “most beautiful man on the planet” to Czech Tomáš Martinka (26) last Friday, reports Czech tab Revue.

Martinka beat out contestants from thirty different countries to win the crown. First-runner up went to Thailand and second runner up went to Spain.

Throughout the two-hour event, which focuses on “handsomeness,” “intelligence,” and “attitude,” the chiseled contestants competed in four categories: traditional costume, swimwear, evening wear, and interview.

Mr. Martinka, a native of the Northwestern Bohemian town Most, is a model and actor.

He joins a long tradition of Czech success in international beauty pageants, including Miss Universe Taťána Kuchařová in 2006.
