We have made history by becoming Prague´s first solely English-speaking online radio and the newest to hit the Czech Republic. Bringing stories of interest, information, events, concerts and performances to the listener is the key aim while keeping the format engaging, exciting and fun to listen to. Competitions and interactive features play a big part in the promotion of the show giving each listener a special reason to tune in again for the next episode.

Who is our target audience?

“Joe´s Happy Hour”, hosted by Joe Wakeford, is a weekly show tailored specifically to the international expatriate community in Prague. From long-term residents to short-term tourists, all content has links to events and topics based in Prague as well as Czech Republic appealing to business people, families, students and individuals.

What does the show feature?

Locally sourced music and content relevant to those living in Prague is delivered directly to visitors via a simple podcast player from the front-page of the website. Presented in a friendly radio style audio format each show covers a wide array of subjects including:

How many visitors listen to the show and how is the show accessed?

This is approximately 5% of our expatriate website visitor base with 70% based in the Czech Republic and 30% internationally. We put our audience in control of their listening, allowing them to tune-in at convenient times, control their schedules and fast-forward or rewind programmes while exposing them to new locally produced music, restaurants, bars and business concepts they otherwise wouldn’t come across. Whether streaming online or downloading for offline use on a mobile phone or MP3 player, each show can be listened to at any time during the week giving listeners a ready source of information to dip into at their leisure.
What are the benefits of advertising with us?

With our website attracting such a large visitor base our partners are given maximum exposure not only online but also via the weekly online radio show with strong possibilities of an increased listenership.

Radio has always been a strong call-to-action medium, and this is even more true in a world where consumers access brands via the internet.
