The Czech Republic has joined the global outcry against terrorism following the horrifying terrorist attack in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow. According to current reports, the attack has claimed the lives of more than 90 individuals and left over 140 wounded.

The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on social media expressing deep condemnation for the act of violence, labeling it unacceptable and extending heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.

Czechia joins the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Germany, Italy, France, and other countries around the world in issuing official statements condemning the terrorist attack. Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Maria Zakharova had earlier called for the international community to condemn the "monstrous crime."

"Czechia condemns the terrorist attack in Moscow," writes the Czech Foreign Ministry on social media. "Targeting civilians is unacceptable. Our condolences to the families of the victims."

This sentiment echoed across international platforms, with leaders from various nations expressing solidarity with Russia and denouncing the senseless violence perpetrated against innocent civilians.

The attack occurred ahead of a concert at Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, a city on the Western edge of Moscow. Gunmen wearing combat fatigues and carrying assault rifles indiscriminately opened fire on attendees. They also reportedly used incendiary devices to start a fire in the auditorium, which resulted in large blaze that saw the roof of the hall collapse.

IS-KP, a regional branch of the Islamic State terrorist group, has claimed responsibility for the attack, telling Amaq News Agency that the gunmen had "retreated to their bases safely." Russian anti-Kremlin paramilitary groups have denied involvement in the attacks, as have officials from Ukraine.

On Saturday morning, Russian authorities arrested 11 individuals related to the terrorist attack. The four perpetrators of the attack are reported to be among those arrested, according to Russian news agencies.

"At this moment, it has been established that 93 people have died. The number of victims will increase," the Investigative Committee of Russia reports, according to TASS. The attack is the deadliest on Russian soil in over two decades.
