Master Data Analyst

The Master Data Analyst BSTC supports EMEA Master Data Team in financial and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate entry for assigned accounts and key elements within the Master Data set up. Works in close conjunction with Product Managers, Sales Managers, Operations, Finance, and other corporate teams to ensure that data is valid, easily available and understandable. Challenging status quo and bringing new ideas and innovations within the Master Data set up.

Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

·       Processing ServiceNow tickets assigned to Master Data Team

·       Validating the accuracy of incoming requests

·       Ensure all requests contain the appropriate supporting documentation and comply with corporate requirements before they are implemented into system

·       Completing material / business partners maintenance in NAVISION and S4/HANA system for EMEA

·       Data analyzing to ensure high quality of master data

·       Interaction with internal and external clients / stakeholders to resolve issues identified during the process

·       Maintain material master naming convention guidelines for all materials, descriptions, material groups

·       Gathers and organizes data to create reports from integrated systems

·       Automate data preparation and report creation where possible

·       Support GS1 activities  

·       Following up and optimizing of Master Data processes

·       Maintain internal Master Data documentation and policies

·      Management of special projects as needed in addition to daily activities

Required Skills and Abilities:

·       High School Diploma or equivalent

·       Very good verbal and written communication skills in English

·       Great attention to detail and accuracy focus is a must

·       Process oriented

·       Proven experience in a master data role (min. 1 year)

·       Analytical mindset and logical problem-solving skills

·       Teamwork and collaborative focus

·       Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs with Advanced Skills using MS Excel (use of macro’s, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs…)

·       Experience in reporting is a plus

·       Working with Reporting packages, databases (SQL etc.) is a plus

·       Experience with Microsoft Navision or other ERP system is a plus

·       Experience with GS1 standards is a plus
