English Teacher - Middle & High School

Škola VIA BEROUN is seeking a full-time middle and high school/gymnasium English teacher for the school year 2026-27. We teach the IB Middle Years Program (MYP) and in particular, we are looking for an English Language and Literature teacher.

Suitable candidates should fulfil the following requirements: 

• Proficient English speaker – C2 level 

• University teaching qualification  

• Experience of teaching children in a middle or high school environment is preferred 

• Experience teaching of IB, MYP, IGCSE curriculum is welcomed 

• Ability to teach creative and hands-on, student-focused lessons that help students develop their strengths, skills and values  

• Ability to work with the needs of students to motivate them in a positive learning environment 

• Energetic, motivated and adaptable 

• A willingness to teach according to the VIA Beroun’s ethos  

• Legal status to work in the Czech Republic
