🍿 NOW IN CINEMAS

The Conjuring: Last Rites is the fourth and purportedly final mainline entry in the popular Conjuring series, following paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) as they confront a haunted mirror linked to the Pittsburgh Poltergeist.

The film explores the Warrens’ retirement and their concern for their daughter while delivering classic supernatural horror set pieces. The Prague Reporter says that while the sequel isn't as scary as past installments, it “is beautifully filmed […] with evocative 1980s production design and some terrific set pieces.”

A new high-concept Italian romantic comedy from the director of the smash hit Perfect Strangers, Madly (also titled Somebody to Love in some territories) explores the conflicting emotions of a man (Edoardo Leo) and a woman (Pilar Fogliati) on their first date.

Paolo Genovese's film alternates between the real-world interactions and the colorful inner debates of the couple, Inside Out-style, personifying their impulses and insecurities in an imaginative way. Madly is now screening in Italian with both English and Czech subtitles at Prague's Edison Filmhub.
