The Rite of Spring
The Chemistry Gallery asks what happens when 14 Czech artists take long-lasting folk traditions and either dig deeper, or smash them apart. Opened Wednesday at Holešovice Market, the show borrows its title from Stravinsky's pagan sacrifice ballet and runs with the metaphor: spring kills winter, new paradigms disrupt old patterns, and maybe it's time to rethink the traditions we keep repeating. Expect paintings, sculptures, photography, and computer animation.
Date: Through to May 17, 2026
Location: The Chemistry Gallery, Hall 40, Holešovice Market
