Czechia has been ranked the world’s 20th happiest country in the 2026 World Happiness Report, released this week, reflecting the country’s high quality of life by global standards, even as gaps remain compared to top performers.

With an average life evaluation score of 6.821 out of 10, Czechia places firmly in the global top tier, far above the worldwide average and well ahead of countries at the bottom of the ranking.
