Rooftops hangouts are the hit of the season in the Czech capital as clubs and close quarters don’t exactly encourage social distancing. After the recent reintroduction of mask-wearing at inside events with over 100 people in attendance, finding safe breathing space has become more of an issue for the partiers of Prague.

Last summer saw the debut of the cinema on the roof of the Trade Fair Palace while Lucerna opened its rooftop to great acclaim in 2017. And this year rooftop life is in full swing, offering summer cinema, parties, and blue skies.

Here are a few tips for which ones to visit:

Střecha Radost (Roof Radost)

The Fource Live concert series focused on Czech musicians will move from the Chapeau Rouge club to Roof Radost in August — a new outdoor cultural place on the map of Prague, which is operated in cooperation with Café V lese.
