Vršovice scene pioneer, street pianos impresario, and cafe entrepreneur Ondřej Kobza is behind an exciting new project that would see the permanent opening of the Palace Lucerna rooftop, built in 1920 by the Havel family, as a community garden and cafe.
A press conference will be held at 12:00 to announce future plans for the 1000 m2 of roof terraces that will gradually be restored and made partially available to the public.
Immediately following, a three-day temporary opening will commence, during which people can visit the rooftop of Lucerna from October 19-21 (12:00-18:00) to explore the space and buy organic produce, meat, and dairy from the Košík Farm.
In keeping with his usual flair for the dramatic, Kobza will reportedly be bringing along two goats.
Entrance to the event is opposite the Great Hall at the paternoster.
