CVent, a global leader in events management technology, recently released their 2018 list of the top hotels in Europe for meetings and events, and one Prague location proudly stands at the top.
Hilton Prague, which boasts 60 meeting rooms and 5000 square meters of meeting space to go along with its 791 sleeping rooms, was selected as the best hotel in Europe for meetings & events for 2018.
Built in 1991 and extensively renovated in 2006, Hilton Prague has long been one of the most acclaimed hotels in the Czech Republic since the country gained independence from the Soviet Union after the Velvet Revolution in 1989.
Famously stayed in by US President Barack Obama during his visit to the Czech capital in 2008, Hilton Prague has scored a number of other honors in recent years.
Those include being ranked the Czech Republic’s Leading Hotel in 2016 by the World Travel Awards and Best Business Hotel in the Czech Republic in 2015 by both the Business Destination Travel Awards and the TTG Travel Awards.
The main Hilton Prague location in Prague 8 wasn’t the only Hilton in the Czech capital to rate among Europe’s top hotels for meetings; Hilton Prague Old Town in Prague 1 came in at number 38 on CVent’s list.
