Brussels, Sept 22 (CTK) - Germany will probably put all of the Czech Republic on its list of its risk regions on Wednesday, and Czech citizens entering Germany will have to either submit a negative test for coronavirus or go into quarantine, Czech Foreign Minister Tomáš Petříček said today.
"Given the epidemiological situation and given the fact that the rises in new cases are markedly higher in our country than in the neighboring Germany, it can be assumed that this decision will be made tomorrow [Wednesday]," Petříček said.

The Czech Republic is negotiating for exceptions for the requirement to have a negative test for some groups, for example for cross-border commuters, said Petříček, who is taking part in a meeting of European foreign ministers in Brussels. On Monday, Petříček talked with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas during the meeting.
At present, Germany considers Prague and Central Bohemia, which is the region around the capital city, to be risk regions.
Being listed among risk areas does not mean that Germans are prohibited from entering an area, but the federal government as well as the individual states recommend that people avoid these regions if possible.
People from risk areas can also travel to Germany, but they must expect limitations.
