The 8th annual Fringe Festival is quickly approaching. Don´t miss the best of English language music, improve, theater, dance, comedy and more. Dates are May 22-30 and tickets are only an unbelievable 150 CZK. There´s also a Fringe Voucher for hardcore fans which enables the holder to see five shows for the price of four. (Available only through Ticketstream.) We´ve compiled as much information about the Fringe as we could get our hands on, and will update this posting as the festival approaches.

Tickets: Can be purchased now through Ticketstream. The week of Fringe they can be purchased at Divadlo na Prádle, the official Fringe Box Office. Day of tickets can also be bought straight from the participating theaters. See www.fringe.cz for more information.

Tickets to each show are 150 CZK. On the 22nd, all tickets are 100 CZK; throughout the fest, student tickets are an astonishing 50 CZK.

Fringe Festival Praha 2009

Doing the fringe means being adventurous and taking a chance. The
world over, fringe festivals tempt with an array of shows from around
the globe; music, comedy, dance, spoken word, theatre are all there to
discover. The intrepid fringe explorer will come across the exotic, the
strange and the bizarre, be entertained, moved and amused, taking in
not just one but several shows a day in their big fringe adventure.
Fringe Festival Praha offers almost 40 shows and 200 performances in 7
fantastic venues across beautiful Malá Strana over 9 very special
nights in May we hope you are up for the challenge, pack your bags and
hop on board.
