Motorsport fans will get a rare chance to go behind the scenes with the McLaren F1 Team this weekend. The three-day event (Dec. 12–14) at Prague Exhibition Grounds in Holešovice lets visitors explore installations inspired by the current Formula 1 season. Free for everyone, the celebration will include a full-scale McLaren show car, hands-on racing activities, and interactive zones that dive into the technology, design, and culture behind the team.
A full-throttle F1 experience
The highlight of the weekend is the McLaren MCL39 show car, set up so visitors can get close to the chassis and engineering details. There’s also a dedicated photo station for a “winner” snapshot with the car.
After walking through the “Victory Tunnel,” which takes visitors through the team’s season highlights, aspiring F1 commentators can then record their own short Grand Prix segment in a studio modeled after the one used by TV Nova Sport presenters Števo Eisele, Josef Král, and Pavel Fabry.
Other hands-on zones will let visitors test their driving skills on a racing simulator and try reflex-based games, while a safety exhibit will showcase helmets, race suits, and the Halo system that protects drivers in high-speed crashes.
Cars, collectibles, and competition
Fans can also try their luck in a scratch card competition for McLaren F1 Team merchandise or snap a photo on a winner’s podium for a memorable keepsake. The Automobilist zone will offer graphic art and collectible prints inspired by the team for motorsport enthusiasts looking to take a piece of F1 culture home.
Allwyn’s partnership with Formula 1 is helping make the celebration possible, bringing the excitement of the sport closer to Prague and giving visitors a glimpse of the McLaren F1 Team’s design, technology, and innovation.
“This event is about the emotions of one of McLaren’s best seasons,” says Dominika Němcová of Sazka, part of Allwyn and host of the Allwyn McLaren F1 Team Celebration. “With large-format installations and interactive experiences, we’re creating three days that fans will remember.”
