Actor, podcaster, social critic and stand-up comic Bill Burr will perform in the Czech Republic next month for the very first time as part of his new 2019 European tour.
Burr, who recently turned 50 earlier this year, will come to Prague Congress Centre in Vyšehrad on January 12 as part of his new show 50.
“50 is not the new 40”, says Burr.
Called “the undisputed heavyweight champ of rage-fueled humor” by Rolling Stone, Burr started out his road to popularity on TV’s Chappelle’s Show and nabbed a recurring role on Breaking Bad a few years later.
Gaining fame through his embittered stand-up performances, Burr would go on to become “one of the funniest, most distinctive voices in the country for years” per the New York Times.
Burr’s European tour over the first quarter of 2019 will bring him to venues through Germany, Austria, Poland, Hungary, the UK and other countries, but he’ll be in Prague for one night only.
Tickets run from 990 – 1990 crowns, but seating is quickly filling up. The show kicks off from 20:00.
