The most dangerous road in the Czech Republic has been revealed, according to the newly released EuroRAP risk map. The I/11 between Žamberk and Jablonné nad Orlicí continuing to Červená Voda was determined to be the riskiest route in the country.

Based on data from 2013-2015, the EuroRAP map also monitors highways; it considers the stretch of the D7 near Chomutov among the most treacherous.

The map names the safest roads in the Czech Republic as well. Among them, first class road I/20 between Písek and Vodňany was given a nod for increasing the security of it infrastructures.

In general the worst regions for drivers are Liberec, Zlín, Moravia-Silesia, and Pardubice. On the other hand, the safest regions are Olomouc, South Moravia, Karlovy Vary, and Vysočina.

The program evaluates the safety level of roads and also proposes measures whose implementation will help eliminate the occurrence of fatal and serious injuries in road accidents.

Risk mapping on the network of motorways and primary roads in the Czech Republic represents a total of more than 6,500 kilometers. See the full risk map for the Czech Republic here.
