While politicians in Prague debate the 2026 state budget in its second reading, arguing over billions of crowns in planned spending and deficits, a new interactive project helps us all understand exactly how our individual pot fits into the bigger picture.

The tool, developed by journalist and programmer Filip Hráček, translates the abstract numbers of the national budget into weekly contributions broken down visually into tens, hundreds, or a few thousand crowns.
