Autumn gets fully underway in Prague and Czechia this week, with harvest and wine festivals bringing the season into full focus. It’s also prime season for annual street and neighborhood parties, some offering a taste of the best Prague’s international communities have to offer.

Celebrate Czech beer Days of Czech Beer runs throughout September, with breweries and pubs across Czechia putting Czech brewing traditions in the spotlight through special beers, tastings, brewery visits, and other events.

Explore Prague's heritage European Heritage Days continue throughout September, opening historic buildings, monuments and other sites that aren't normally accessible to the public, with free and low-cost visits and guided tours.

See Prague's fashion scene Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week continues through Wednesday at SaSaZu, bringing Czech designers, student collections, and emerging talent to the runway. The autumn/winter 2026–27 edition runs Sept. 5–9.

Welcome new art ANDROS opens at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art, examining the male body and changing ideas of masculinity through contemporary Central European art. See Southeast Asia on film The ASEAN Film Festival opens at the City Library Cinema on Monday with a free program of short films from Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, and South Korea (6:15–8:15 p.m.). Screenings are with English subtitles.

Hear an anthem reimagined Czech composer Bedřich Smetana’s Má vlast, a landmark six-part symphonic cycle celebrating the Czech landscape and national identity, becomes the starting point for a theatrical, dance, and puppet production at the Azyl78 tent. The production runs through Sept. 28.

Rock out in the garden. Charles Square hosts the Prague Rock Gardeners Club’s seasonal display of colorful plants, bonsai, dwarf conifers, and other rockery plants, with specimens available to buy through Sept. 18.

The English-language program begins at 8:30 p.m. with Street Heroines, followed by a short documentary about Toy_Box's Milada Horáková mural and discussions moderated by Czech graffiti filmmaker Sany.

Understand the circular economy The two-day Dokola Festival at Kampus Hybernská explores what happens when things are reused rather than thrown away, with talks, debates, workshops, a clothing swap, an upcycled fashion show, and an exhibition.
