What if you are in an international marriage and you get divorced in the Czech Republic? What happens to your children when each parent has a different nationality and who actually rules on custody issues? And can you or your former spouse move your children back to your home country if you want to?

In this article we are going to look at these questions and more so that you’ll learn exactly how Czech courts handle custody of children in families whose lives cross borders.

Don’t assume things work the same as back home
