ZINC RESTAURANT LAUNCHES CULINARY MASTER CLASSES

PRAGUE, Czech Republic – (29 June 2010) – Hilton Prague Old Town has launched its Zinc Culinary Master Classes, providing guests and visitors with the opportunity to learn how to prepare delicious Thai cuisine.  Held in the hotel´s Zinc restaurant, the classes will be led by Hilton Prague Old Town sous chef, Chaiyasith Lam Srichom and supported by executive chef, Ari Munandar.

Class participants will learn how to prepare traditional Thai dishes such as Thai seafood salad in lime and lemongrass dressing, roasted duck in lychee and pineapple curry, and mango and passion fruit pavlova roulade with fresh mixed berries and coconut cream.

The classes start with a welcome drink in the Zinc lounge & bar, followed by a tour of the kitchen.  The chefs will then review all of the ingredients, providing top tips about where and when to buy the best quality ingredients.  After the dishes are prepared, participants can enjoy their creations in the restaurant´s dining room, accompanied with a choice of specially selected wines.  All participants will receive recipes for the dishes as well as a certificate and a gift bag to take home.

Sous chef Lam said: “We are really excited about the master classes, especially after the success of recent trials classes we held at the restaurant.  The master classes are not just educational; they are also a lot of fun for the participants.”

The Zinc Culinary Master Classes will be held on 25 September and 27 November 2010, from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm.  Price per person is 2.900 CZK and maximum capacity is 12 people.  For reservations, call 221 822 300 or email zinc@hilton.com.
