The Exhibition of Nativity Scenes beneath the prelature of Břevnov Monastery in Prague is running over Christmas into the New Year, and best of all, is free to visit. This annual showcase brings together dozens of handcrafted nativity scenes from across the Czech Republic, from classic wooden and ceramic sets to imaginative contemporary pieces, each telling its own Christmas story. Set in a historic monastery and with a rich accompanying program of children's workshops, a navitiy market, and live carving cemonstrations, it’s perfect for a winter outing with the family.
