Ordering products from Poland could become more convenient for shoppers in Czechia following a new partnership between Polish delivery company InPost and Czech-founded logistics group Packeta, which operates locally as Zásilkovna.
The companies announced Monday, Oct. 19, that Polish online retailers using InPost's international delivery service can now send packages to Czech customers through Zásilkovna's extensive network of parcel lockers, pickup points and home delivery services. The companies are advertising delivery within two working days of dispatch.
The agreement also covers Slovakia and introduces Saturday deliveries in Prague, Brno and Ostrava, offering greater flexibility for customers shopping across the border.
How the new delivery service works
Under the new partnership announced by Packeta, participating Polish online stores can offer Czech customers several delivery options, including Z-BOX parcel lockers, staffed Zásilkovna pickup points and direct courier delivery to their homes.
The companies promise a D+2 delivery standard, meaning packages are expected to arrive within two working days after being dispatched. The timeframe does not include the time retailers need to process orders.
Saturday deliveries will also be available in Prague, Brno and Ostrava, although the companies have not specified whether the service will be offered by every participating retailer.
The integration connects InPost's Polish delivery operations with Packeta's network of more than 14,000 pickup points and parcel lockers across Czechia and Slovakia.
For Czech customers, the change means additional Polish retailers may be able to offer familiar Zásilkovna delivery options at checkout, rather than relying on traditional international courier services.
The expansion is aimed primarily at Polish businesses, rather than individual customers. Retailers already using InPost International can activate the service through an update to the company's existing logistics system, without developing a separate integration.
Shipping prices have not yet been detailed in the announcement, and availability will depend on whether individual online stores introduce the option.
Polish online retailers gain easier access to Czech shoppers
The partnership comes as cross-border online shopping continues to expand across Central Europe.
According to figures cited by Packeta, Czechia's e-commerce market reached CZK 206 billion in 2025, an increase of 6 percent year over year. The company also cited data indicating that 84 percent of Czechs shop online.
Erich Čomor, CEO of Packeta Group, said the partnership would make it easier for Polish retailers to reach Czech and Slovak customers using delivery methods already familiar to local consumers.
"Czechia and Slovakia are our key markets," Čomor said, describing the agreement as another step toward reducing barriers to international e-commerce.
InPost founder and CEO Rafał Brzoska similarly emphasized that Polish retailers would be able to enter neighboring markets through a single logistics integration.
Packeta was established in Czechia in 2010 under the name Zásilkovna and has since expanded throughout Central and Eastern Europe. Its network now supports deliveries to 33 countries and serves more than 62,000 online stores.
For Czech shoppers, the partnership adds another potential delivery option when ordering from Poland, particularly as retailers prepare for the busy Christmas shopping season.
