“Blues and More Music Festival”?

Blues is the basis of all today´s music, and while the event will feature blues music, we do not intend to limit the festival to strictly blues. We also feature pop and rock, folk, funk, country and other forms of music that are rooted in the blues. The one common link for all acts will be integrity in both music and performances.

Music in the Park

Headlining this year are the sometimes controversial Sinead O´Connor, US gospel legends The Blind Boys of Alabama, James “Blood” Ulmer (Ornette Coleman) and his seven piece band featuring Vernon Reid (Living Colour), Jiri Suchy in a very special and rare live performance, Vladimir Misik & ETC, Zluty Pes (in an extended two drummer set) and the legendary Radim Hladik and Blue Effect.

Tickets are available as of today at all Ticketstream sales outlets (www.ticketstream.cz).

Tyler is (at only 15 years of age!) considered by music critics and reviews in the US to be the new Stevie Ray Vaughan. Backed by a band including members who played with Stevie himself, this guitar prodigy has to be seen to be believed!

In addition to all of the great music, festival goers will also enjoy many other activities – including informal Jam Sessions taking place throughout the grounds, a children´s corner with a game zone and pony rides, horseback trail riding for older children and adults, horse drawn carriage tours for lovers and families and, in cooperation with the Music on Film, Film on Music Festival, a film tent running continuous concert films, musicals and documentaries.

Park Stromovka

For Over 100 Years, Prague Citizens have enjoyed the Old Royal Hunting Grounds of Roman Emperor Rudolf II as they Strolled, Romanced and Played among the Beautiful Ponds, Flowerbeds and Trees that make up this Protected Space.

Now, in a First, Stromovka will be the home of the only International Open Air Music Festival to take place in the City of Prague, welcoming all Prague citizens and visitors of our beautiful city.

“We are here to create a new tradition. Prague is a wonderful city and we believe that everybody in Prague on that Saturday should definitely join us, bringing their children and families as we designed this event to be for whole family, and enjoy unforgettable music performances and a truly great day in a truly great space…”, says Russell Katz of InnerVisions, the festival producers.
