With food inflation lingering and supermarket prices showing little relief, more Czechs are looking beyond national borders for a better deal, especially on fresh produce.

A growing number are crossing into Poland and Germany, not for big-box bargains, but for their farmers’ markets. What they’re finding there isn’t just better value, but bigger, fresher, and sometimes surprisingly luxurious goods for far less.
