Each week, our editors will be rounding up the best events for the English-speaking community: places to meet new people, test your knowledge, learn something, or just get out of the house.

This week’s calendar runs from June 1-6, with tips for outdoor food and cultural festivals, sports events on the Vltava River, and much more.

  • June 4: The Tiny Living Festival at Prague Exhibition Grounds showcases tiny houses, glamping, and sustainable living innovations with talks, discussions, and presentations.
  • June 4: A Czech conversation club meetup at the Municipal Library in Lužiny offers a free, friendly space to practice Czech and discuss everyday life.

  • June 5–6: The annual Žižkov Beer Festival at Parukářka Park showcases small and microbreweries with tasting-focused beers and food pairings.
  • June 5–7: We Love Prosek brings food, culture, and a friendly neighborhood atmosphere to Park Přátelství, offering a relaxed open-air weekend for families and friends.
  • June 5–7: Cross Club hosts Cider Festival, which showcases over 100 craft ciders and lemonades, plus food, DJs, workshops, and live music.
  • June 6: A Vegan Feast at Central Park Pankrác celebrates plant-based cuisine with food stalls, talks, and community activities, welcoming vegans and curious visitors with free entry.
  • June 6: The international Festival of Embassies at Vítězné náměstí in Prague 6 offers international food, cultural performances, and embassy-run stalls in an open-air market.

  • June 5–7: The ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup in Troja brings world-class whitewater racing to Prague, with kayakers racing through the Troja slalom canal.
  • June 5–7: The Primátorky rowing race on the Vltava River brings crews to compete on Prague’s historic course between Veslařský ostrov and Palacký Bridge, with lively crowds along both riverbanks.
