Are you ready to go beyond standard reporting and being a part of a modern, cloud-focused analytics environment? As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will drive the design of robust ETL frameworks on AWS Redshift and build critical data pipelines that support our ML initiatives. We are looking for a proactive specialist who excels in SQL and data modeling, while bringing data to life using Qlik/Tableau. You will have the opportunity to utilize or sharpen your skills in Python and learn new technologies such as Databricks.

A day in the life:

• Write/program/develop and implement visual data reports and create personalized, interactive data visualizations, reports and dashboards from multiple data sources

• Work with the business to process requirements and be able to convert them into meaningful reports as well as be able to train and communicate the reports to the business stakeholders

• Design & develop automated and distributed frameworks to ingest and transform data from disparate sources across the organization

• Design modern cloud focused data analytics environment

• Work closely with Data Scientists to help build data pipelines for Machine Learning models

• Assist with process definition and library of reusable objects (fields, calculations, KPI, etc.)

• Troubleshoot issues with minimal guidance, identifies data related problems and provide scalable solutions

• Participate in the definition of application scope and objectives through research and fact finding

• Maintain productive working relationships with project sponsors and key systems users

• Communicate and present the reports to the business stakeholders

• Support ad-hoc requests by writing advanced SQL queries

• Solve issues with minimal direction, identifies data related problems and provide scalable solutions

What we are looking for:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Information Management, Computer Science Engineering related fields.

• 2+ years of experience in Reporting tools like Qlikview, QlikSense or Tableau

• 2+ years of experience with SQL scripting languages (T-SQL, PL/SQL, etc.)

• 2+ years of experience with data modeling, data warehousing, building ETL pipelines

• 2+ years of experience with Datawarehouses (AWS Redshift preferred)

• 1-2 years of experience with Python is nice to have

• Experience with data modeling to support Machine learning training models preferred

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
