Employees in Czechia are among 'most overworked' in the world, study says

Long working hours and modest pay have left many of the nation’s employees under significant stress.

A new study has revealed that Czech workers are among the most overworked globally, a finding that comes amid rising trends of burnout and stress afflicting employees in Czechia’s labor market.

Australian health insurance provider iSelect assessed several categories, such as total hours worked per year, average salaries, web searches for burnout, and more. The result: almost four in 10 people in Czechia (39 percent) “experience daily stress.”
