Hankering for some svíčková after midnight?

Popular Prague YouTube channel Honest Guide has made a name for themselves by taking down some of the city’s top scammers, like unscrupulous taxi drivers ripoff exchange agencies, but they’ve also made some great recommendations for places that deserve it.

In this week’s episode, Honza Mikulka & Janek Rubeš tour the Prague’s Anděl district for some authentic (and cheap) Czech eats and also unveil one location that’s open all day long, every day throughout the year.

That would be Jídelna Marjánka, which serves up Czech classics like Svíčková, guláš, fried hermelín cheese, and much more 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on Na Bělidle street, just around the corner from the Anděl metro and tram stops.

Honest Guide also highlights some of the district’s authentic Czech cuisine options open during standard operating hours like U Kristiána, a hidden Staropramen pub with huge portions that makes for a great lunchtime venue.

Also recommended: Pastva for top vegetarian and vegan fare, Pho Champion for Vietnamese, and upscale new Taro for a romantic Asian destination.
