This Prague burger has been named the 3rd-best in Europe

The burger at Dish {fine burger bistro} has taken the #3 spot on Big 7 Travel’s big list of the best 50 burgers in Europe

Where can you get the best burger in Europe?

That’s the question that popular travel website Big 7 put to their 1.5 million readers with a recent poll featuring a burger from at least one restaurant in every country within the EU.

When the results came in, Burger And Beyond in London took home the title of Europe’s best burger in Big 7’s list of the 50 best burgers in Europe, which was published yesterday. Gasoline Grill in Copenhagen came in at #2.

But Prague and its burgeoning burger scene was also rated high on the list of Europe’s best burgers, with one local venue coming in at number 3 on the list.

Dish {fine burger bistro}, popular Prague 2 burger joint in the heart of Vinohrady, was voted the #3 burger in Europe by Big 7 readers, with burgers in London (Patty and Bun) and Budapest (Bamba Marha Burger Bar) rounding out the top 5.

No other burger in Prague – or the Czech Republic – placed among the top 50 burgers in Europe, though Bratislava’s Roxor came in at number 48.

It’s not clear if Prague had more contenders for the title of Europe’s best burger, or if Dish was the lone Czech representative.

Of course, we’re partial to Prague burger guru Brewsta’s definitive annual list of the best burgers in Prague, which was published earlier this month and features a solid lineup of burgers that might have jumped Dish in the Big 7 list.

While Dish is a perennial contender for the top position among Brewsta’s top burgers, they came in at number 10 on this year’s list, after burgers from Kantýna, Mr. HotDog, U Kurelů, Blackdog Cantina, Mikrofarma, and other fine Prague burger bistros.
