Three weeks ago, DPP removed the first nine old prestressed beams out of a total of 131, which together with the large concrete slab below the intersection of Křižíkova and Ke Štvanici streets form the current ceiling above the Florenc C metro station vestibule.

Due to the closure of the entire underpass and the vestibule of the Florenc C station, access to this station will be possible only through October 2023 via the E1 entrance in Sokolovská Street.

Construction companies are removing ceilings, implementing paving protection, setting up temporary steel structures, and starting demolition work so that nine more prestressed beams can be removed on the weekend of Aug. 6–7, 2022.
