CORPORATE RELAY RACES IN 2009

Dear sport friends!
Come and take part in the 4th edition of the Hervis Corporate Half Marathon (relay) on March 28th and also in the 2nd edition of the Volkswagen Corporate Marathon (relay) on May 10th, both followed by Award Ceremony Party!

Races are taking place within Hervis Prague Half Marathon and Volkswagen Prague Marathon, both awarded by prestigious IAAF Road Race Silver Label 2009.

We are opening a NEW category for experienced runners, the team race, where all members of the team run the same distance.
 
These races are 4-member relays accompanied by AWARD CEREMONY PARTY (bigger then ever) at the hotel Hilton with cultural program, refreshment and lots of fun.

Companies that register at least 1 month before each race will have their LOGO on start numbers! 

Each company registered in the corporate runs can participate in our running trainings under the guidance of experienced trainers for FREE!    

Hervis Corporate Half Marathon (Relay)

Start:  Rudolfinum Concert Hall at 12:10 p.m. (TEAM RACE at 12:00 p.m.)
Finish:  Rudolfinum
Time limit: 3 hours
Entry fee: 6000 CZK (4 members)

Volkswagen Corporate Marathon (Relay)

Team Race 4 × 42, 195 km

Start:   Staroměstské namesti Old Town Square at 9:10 a.m. (Team race 9:00)
Finish:   Staroměstské namesti
Time limit: 6 hours (possibly 8)
Entry fee:  5 500,- CZK  (200 EUR) per team (4 members)

Incheba Expo Praha, Prumyslovy palac, Prague 7 – Holesovice
(Prague´s historic exhibition center).
Opening hours: Thursday, May 7 – from 12 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9 – from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

GALA EVENING
An award ceremony will close the Corporate Races season. I will be held in the Hilton hotel in May to honor the fastest teams and individuals. Prizes and diplomas will be awarded. Nice cultural program, great food and lots of fun!

TRAINING PROGRAM
PIM prepared an interesting offer to all who are registered to participants of  PIM Corporate races in 2009 and want to prepare for the races under guidance of experienced trainers. Come and attend regular common running trainings. All corporate runners can participate in the PIM Running club regular trainings with professional experienced runners for free!

Qualification
Corporate Half Marathon and Marathon are open to corporations, government and non-government organizations and agencies, private and state-owned corporations. Each organization is welcomed to register an unlimited number of teams consisting of four members (men, women, mixed) with at least 1 representative of the organization.

Corporate personalized team start numbers
Specifications of the logo located on the teams start numbers: The size of the logo located on the start numbers should not be larger than 10 x 7 cm (width x high), the graphics resolution not less than 300 dpi in the scale factor 1:1. You can send the logo files in data format: ai, eps, cdr, pdf, tiff or jpg. In one layer and CMYK color scheme.
Used text parts should be in graphics. 
Please send the data to corporate@pim.cz or on a CD to the PIM address.
Possibility of placing the logo is when registering one month before each race! 

REGISTRATION
Teams can register for the race in one of the following ways:

· On-line through our on-line registration form at www.praguemarathon.com
· By e-mail: filling the entry form and sending to corporate@pim.cz
· By fax or post: by sending the filled in entry form together with a copy of payment confirmation to the fax number: 00420 / 224 923 355 or to address Záhořanského 3, Praha 2, Czech Republic.
· In person at the office in Záhořanského 3, Praha 2, Czech Republic / 4 days prior to the race day

THE REGISTRATION WILL BE CONSIDERED VALID UPON THE PAYMENT EVIDENCE.

The changeover points
The Changeover points will be located at three equidistant points (5 km, 10 km, 15 km / 10km, 20 km a 30 km). Last (captain) section will be evaluated separately. Transportation to 5/10 km 15/20 km and 30km will be provided by bus as well as from those points to finish. The runners should run in the order that they have put down on their entry form! The captain is the last runner of the race.

FEATURED EMPLOYERS

Time keeping
The race times will be read by a chip. Each member of the relay will get own chip that is part of the start number. Chips cannot be exchanged with other members of the team. The chips are property of the corporation Timing Data Service, which lends them out on a deposit of 500 CZK. The chips have to be returned immediately after the race in the technical area. 

The technical area
The technical area will be placed near the start. You can find refreshment and toilets there, also bag deposit, cloakroom, massages, and you will get back the chip deposit there (this part is approx 500 meters far from the start).
