If you work in Czechia, awkward office conversations about salaries may soon be a thing of the past. Employees now have a new tool in the fight for fair pay: transparency.

As of June 1, 2025, it is fully legal for employees in the Czech Republic to talk openly about their wages—ending decades of pay secrecy enforced by employers through confidentiality clauses in labor contracts.
