Timbuk3 said it best with, “The Future’s so bright / Gotta wear shades.” Each time I try on a pair of sunglasses, I hear this tune in my head. It’s true.

Women have their fancy handbags and 6-inch heels; men need a little flare, too. When it comes to looking cool on the streets of Prague, designer shades are a must. Sunglasses are a vital accessory for any contemporary man. The sun can be bright and the glare off the Vltava river can really kill the eyes. Plus, dark shades are the perfect way to hide those wandering eyes when scoping out the ladies in Prague.

Summer 2012 trends are offering a blend of conservative, yet unique looks. Complementing the styles from pop stars and Hollywood’s elite, oversized glasses in basic black and brown seem to be the hot look this year. Oversized glasses are also commonly made in wrap-around styles, which are also highly fashionable.

Vintage styles are also popular this year. Representing styles from the 60s and 70s and even 80s, old-school looks are making a cameo this year as well.

No need to wander aimlessly through the streets of Prague; designer eyewear can easily be found in the Czech Republic’s capital city. Below are some great options when searching for that trendy pair of shades. Prague will please! Style will not be compromised!
