The Czech Republic and beer will be forever intertwined, and any ranking of the world’s finest brews would be incomplete without a Czech representation, just as any beer-focused European road trip would be incomplete without a stop in a Czech city.

But which one?

A new infographic released by UK holiday rentals company Citybase Apartments suggests Plzeň as the best representative city for Czech beer.

And yet one of the best microbrews in the world, Pivovar Matuška’s speciální světlé (special light) pilsner, is actually to be found in Broumy, halfway between Plzeň and Prague.

And that’s just for starters, what about the legendary beer gardens and brewpubs of the Czech capital?
