Prague still dominates headlines when it comes to international employment in Czechia. But new Czech Statistical Office (CZSO) figures reveal a quieter trend: foreign worker growth is accelerating faster in regional cities than in the capital itself.

More than half of Czechia's 850,000 foreign workers now work outside Prague and Central Bohemia, according to the latest CZSO data. And in cities like Liberec, Hradec Králové, and Pardubice—where foreigners make up 11-14 percent of the population—that proportion is growing faster than Prague's 25 percent share.
